What Stops When You Cancel

When a subscription is cancelled, its paid features stop at the end of the current billing period — for example, taking new orders through that product’s POS or online channels. Charges also stop: you are not billed again until you choose to reactivate.

What Happens to Your Data

Your data is not deleted when you cancel:

  • Business data is kept for at least 24 months after cancellation, so you can reactivate and continue where you left off. This includes your orders, customers, settings, and configuration.

  • Transaction records may be kept for up to 7 years where record-keeping laws require it — accounting rules in Singapore and Malaysia require businesses to retain transaction records for a number of years.

  • After the applicable retention period, data is deleted or anonymized.

The full commitment is written in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Coming Back: Reactivation

If you resubscribe within the retention period, your previous data and settings are restored — you do not have to set everything up again. Billing starts again from the day you reactivate.

If you are planning to return, you can also just leave the account as it is: keeping the data costs you nothing while the subscription is off.

Closing One Outlet Is Not Cancelling

If you are only closing one outlet or shop, you usually do not need to cancel anything at the account level. The outlet’s sales channel can be wound down while the rest of your account — and all of the outlet’s historical orders and customers — stays exactly where it is. Contact support through the Help panel and tell us which outlet is closing and from what date, and the team will confirm the right steps for your setup.

Requesting Deletion

If you want your data removed rather than kept, the account owner can request deletion by contacting support. We honor verified requests within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep (such as transaction records within the legal retention period).

Deletion is permanent — after it is processed, reactivation cannot bring the data back. If you are not sure, leave the data in place; it stays private to your account either way.
