Know what needs doing next

EasyBiz Production & Operations helps your team track each job after the order is taken. See what is waiting, who is handling it, what is due, and what needs attention before the customer asks.

A job through production

From order taken to ready for return

Follow the job from the moment it enters production until it is ready for collection, delivery, or handover. Your team can see the next step without asking around.

  1. 01

    Receive the job

Orders from POS, online, or another sales channel become work your team can see.

  2. 02

    Route the work

Send the job to the right stage, plant, workshop, or work area based on your setup.

  3. 03

    Complete the tasks

Staff follow the task list, add notes or photos, and mark work as done.

  4. 04

    Prepare handover

Managers can see what is still pending, what is ready, and what needs attention.

Production stages

See every job by stage

Use a simple board to see what is waiting, what is being worked on, and what is ready. Set up stages with the names your team already uses, so everyone understands where the job stands.

  • Create columns such as Received, In Progress, Packing, Ready, or any names your team uses.

  • Link stages to procedures so jobs appear where the right team can see them.

  • Cards show key details such as order number, customer, dates, photo, and task badges.

  • Each column shows how many jobs are waiting there.

Work order control

Find any job quickly

When a customer asks for an update, your team can search the work order instead of checking paper slips, chat messages, or asking the backroom.

  • Find work by date, due date, sales channel, status, location, tag, task, worker, or search text.

  • See the order number, customer, item details, due date, return type, status, tasks, notes, and tags.

  • Open the original sales order when you need customer, payment, or order details.

  • Print work order details and show QR codes for production-floor handling.

Why EasyBiz

What makes Production & Operations different.

Made for work that happens after checkout

Made for laundry, dry cleaning, repair, alteration, workshop, and specialty service teams that need to track work after the order is taken.

Stop asking around for updates

Work orders, stages, tasks, due dates, notes, tags, and locations help everyone see where the job stands.

Keep the same process every time

Templates, procedures, preset notes, and task rules help staff handle repeat jobs in a consistent way.

Tasks and procedures

Give staff clear task instructions

Each work order can show the tasks to complete, who should handle them, when they are due, and any notes or photos needed for the job.

  • Create common task types so repeat work follows the same structure.

  • Create tasks manually, or use rules to add the right tasks based on the job details.

  • Assign work to a staff member and set a due date when a task needs clear ownership.

  • Attach photos and notes so the next person can see the issue clearly.

Intake details

Capture the details before work starts

Some jobs need more than a product name. Add item details, notes, photos, condition information, or measurements where configured, so the production team knows what they are handling from the start.

  • Ask for the details your team needs when a specific item is added to an order.

  • Capture quantities such as kg, sqft, ft, inch, or pieces for measurement-based work.

  • Keep photos, condition notes, or repair details with the job.

  • Use item counts and label indexes to keep physical items tied to the correct order.

Work areas and routing

Send work to the right team or place

If your business has a backroom, workshop, plant, repair room, or specialist work area, EasyBiz helps route work so each team knows what belongs to them.

  • Create centers such as Main Plant, Workshop, Repair Center, or any place your team recognises.

  • Set rules by business unit and sales channel so matching work goes to the right center.

  • Staff with production center access can still receive work manually when fixed assignments are not used.

  • Use location and container tracking to see where a work order is physically sitting.

FAQ

Common questions about Production & Operations

Who is Production & Operations for?

Production & Operations is for laundry, dry cleaning, repair, alteration, workshop, specialty cleaning, and other service businesses where work must pass through a backroom, plant, workshop, or production team before it is completed.

What is the difference between Standard and Professional?

Standard is for teams that need order-stage tracking, production views, and basic job visibility. Professional is for teams that need deeper work order tools such as task tracking, photos, repair notes, task notes, and multi-stage production workflows. Capacity planning and reliable promise-date calculation are still coming soon.

Can I customize the production stages?

Yes. The production pipeline can use your own stage names, and each stage can be linked to the procedures that should appear in that queue.

Can tasks be created automatically?

Yes. Staff can add tasks manually, and EasyBiz can also create tasks from rules based on the job details and setup.

Can my team add photos and notes?

Yes. Work order tasks can include photos and notes. Intake flows can also capture item details, measurements, photos, and condition notes before work starts.

Can I route work to different production centers?

Yes. You can create production centers and set fixed assignments by business unit and order source. If you do not use fixed assignments, staff with access can still receive work manually.

Does it include inventory?

Inventory Management is available as a separate add-on. It covers stock levels, stock in/out, transfers, movement history, and inventory exports.

Is capacity planning available now?

Not fully. Basic team and capacity setup screens exist, but full capacity planning and reliable promise-date calculation are still coming soon. You should not depend on them as the main production promise engine today.

How are seats counted?

Standard includes 5 Production & Operations seats. Professional includes 10. Additional seats are billed per seat, and you only pay for users who actively manage production workflow.
