Pipelines only take effect once a business unit uses them. In the current console this is done in the Business Units settings, where each business unit is assigned its pre-production, production, and completion & handover pipelines — with separate choices for online orders and POS / shop orders.

Assigning Pipelines to a Business Unit

  1. Click the Settings (gear icon) in the top navigation.

  2. Scroll to the Administration section and click Business Units .

  3. If you have more than one business unit, select the one you want at the top of the page.

  4. Scroll to the Order Pipeline section. Here you assign the pipelines you built earlier:

    • Online Pre-Production — the pre-production pipeline(s) used for online orders. Choose “None (start at production)” if online orders should skip pre-production.

    • POS / Shop Pre-Production — the pre-production pipeline(s) used for orders created at the counter. Choose “None (start at production)” to skip.

    • Production Pipeline — the single production pipeline all orders in this business unit go through.

    • Online Completion & Handover Pipelines — how online orders are handed over (e.g. Home Delivery).

    • POS / Shop Completion & Handover Pipelines — how counter orders are handed over (e.g. Shop Pickup).

  5. Click Save . You will see a confirmation that the order pipeline was updated.

Your setup is now active! When a user starts a sales order under this business unit, the system automatically follows the pipelines you assigned, guaranteeing the correct operational path is followed every time.
