Collect Payment Wherever the Job Happens

PayNow, card, cash, store credit and points can all be taken as a step in a procedure — at the door, at the bench or at the counter.

What's in this update

Payment does not always happen at a counter. Collecting it is now a step you place in a procedure, so a driver can take payment at the door.

PayNow and Card

PayNow payment intents and card payments are handled directly, so the customer pays on the spot and the order is marked paid without a follow-up.

Offline methods, store credit and points balances are all valid ways to settle, and each is recorded against the order as its own transaction.

The amount taken is verified against the order before it is recorded, so a payment cannot quietly settle for the wrong figure.
